Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To

Serrated Edges of a Melted Mind

Heavy in all aspects, Knocked Loose return for a sharp 3rd studio effort. Unwavering in their pessimism and guttural displays of Beatdown, the band remains tight across a swift 27 minute runtime. Dense distortion carries blood-soaked streams of guitar, as raw "pots-and-pans" drumming beat mercilessly in rapid fashion. Alongside a rupturing performance from vocalist, Bryan Garris, the sound is akin to a fist fight, leaving the listener beaten to a pulp by the end.

Where a couple of the non-substantial tracks tend to trudge along in their thickness, the majority of the record is thrilling. A concise, and quite catchy experience, You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To lands itself in the higher echelon of modern Metalcore.
