Mach-Hommy - #RICHAXXHAITIAN

The Revolution is Victorious

Haitian rapper, Mach-Hommy returns for his 14th solo full length project in prime fashion. An eclectic blend of Jazz-Rap, Drumless, Boom Bap, and East Coast Hip Hop instrumentals develop an almost Psychedelic headspace for Mach-Hommy's commanding verse. Whether it's through meticulous piano loops, dusty guitar samples, or soulful vocal snippets, the production hits with a classic tone. This, along with a pertinent mix, covers the record with a granular haze, touching each layer of stratified vocals.

Mach's voice is at an all time influence on this album. Traversing themes of bootstrap success, industry corruption, and Haiti's own human rights crisis, Mach speaks for more than himself. With opulent metaphor and religious imagery, a standalone mind takes the forefront of a turbulent culture. Boosted by roaming bass notes and potent sampling, Mach-Hommy demands the listener's attention in his powerful and persuasive metaphysics.

Only quelled by inconsequential interludes and a repetitive finish, #RICHAXXHAITIAN remains an impactful and inciteful cultural display.
