Tempered and nostalgic samples along with minimal drum patterns create a wistful, but laid back atmosphere. Light jingles and bells decorate Mach and Fahim's Jazz rapping full of confident brags and clever pop culture references. NDL VOL. 2 is an absorbing sequel with spectacular sampling, but misses the bullseye with some underdeveloped lyricism and fresh song structure.
