New York Noise Rock Band, Model/Actriz Smashes into the Scene through Punishing Industrialism, Queer Theatrics, and Meditative Dance-Punk.
Rapid fire kicks and cymbals elevate gargantuan overhead electric guitar, as quivering vocals paint anguished anecdotes of intimacy and violence. Metallic synths and cold atmospherics generate funk tempos and slasher horror tones. Some unfavorable vocal quirks and abrupt progressions hinder the overall production, but do not prevent this from being a thoroughly entertaining and destructive debut.
