The Debut LP for Metalcore Band, Zulu is a Dense Mass of Powerviolence, Soul Samples and Black Pride.
Hulking Riffs surge as screaming vocals rage of systemic racism and prejudice. With a focus on African celebration, Zulu touches on black uniqueness alongside 70s soul samples and more relaxed neo-psychedelic/hip-hop licks. This album presents a brief, yet shiny metalcore sound and is an enjoyable commemoration, but lacks heavily in consistency and auditory direction.
