RXKNephew - Till I'm Dead
Prolific New York Rapper, RXKNephew Enters 2023 with a Steady Lineup of Relaxed Trap Beats, Sustained Flows and Witty Gangster Rap.
Laid back synth samples, soft hi-hats and subdued, yet bouncy 808 bass give great space for Neph's incessant rapping and humorous lyrics. Subtle experimentation and wavey synthetic melodies mix well with Neph's unwavering confidence, creating an odd, but comfortable atmosphere. Neph utilizes a similar flow throughout the majority of the album and often reuses lyrics as he boasts of success and threatens others in rather ridiculous ways. Till I'm Dead is an uncharacteristically cohesive album for RXKNephew, and provides a gratifying and comical look into East Coast Hip-Hop. Nevertheless, an absence of engaging song structure and repetitive rapping curbs the LPs overall effect.
